Job Description
**Job Title** Lead Business Analyst **Role Summary** Lead Business Analyst responsible for ensuring data integrity of policy records in a cloud‑based insurance platform. Works cross‑functionally with triage, customer service, technical support, and IT/Cloud teams to identify, analyze, and correct data discrepancies, perform root‑cause analysis, and maintain high data quality for policy and billing processes. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely data corrections and incident resolution. - Maintain detailed documentation, logs, and reports for audits. - Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to resolve complex issues and prioritize tasks. - Monitor system performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze data discrepancies, execute corrections, and validate changes in policy records. - Manage incident & problem lifecycle, performing root cause analysis and updating records. - Coordinate with triage, TAM/escalations, and IT/Cloud support teams for issue resolution. - Document fixes, maintain ServiceNow/Jira/Confluence updates, and report progress to stakeholders. - Conduct regular data integrity checks and quality assurance reviews. - Monitor application/database performance, identify bottlenecks, and support resolution. - Adapt to evolving business needs, prioritizing tasks and learning new technologies. **Required Skills** - Advanced data analysis (SQL/Oracle) and data management experience. - Strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis, and research skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify technical issues. - Proficient with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence; experience with version control (e.g., SVN) preferred. - Detail‑oriented, organized, capable of handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines. - Familiarity with cloud‑based and on‑premises insurance solutions; experience with Majesco Property & Casualty (Billing) highly valued. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - 7+ years of experience in banking, insurance, or related data management roles. - Certifications in data analytics, database management, or related areas are an advantage.
