Job Title: Freelance DevSecOps Engineer
Role Summary: Provide operational, security, and quality assurance expertise across a diverse CI/CD ecosystem. Troubleshoot user issues, embed automated security controls, integrate quality gates, and maintain stable, compliant CI/CD operations supporting Kubernetes, SonarQube, Nexus, and Harbor.
Expectations: Deliver reliable and secure software delivery pipelines; automate processes for efficiency; maintain compliance with industry best practices; respond promptly to user support tickets; document configurations and procedures; collaborate effectively with development, security, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as primary support contact for CI/CD tools, troubleshooting issues in Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Harbor, Nexus, Keycloak, and SonarQube.
• Configure and maintain GitHub, Nexus, Keycloak, and SonarQube instances to align with organizational standards.
• Manage artifact and container registries (Nexus, Harbor) securely and ensure continuous availability.
• Develop, enhance, and migrate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling.
• Embed automated quality and security gates, including SonarQube, dependency scanning, and container scanning.
• Script automation for platform maintenance, compliance checks, and CI/CD setup using Python and Bash.
• Apply and maintain Keycloak authentication/authorization configurations and enforce least‑privilege access.
• Guarantee that all CI/CD processes include automated checks for security, code quality, test coverage, and dependency risks.
Required Skills:
• Proven experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, and container registries.
• Expertise in Keycloak configuration and authentication/authorization concepts.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent DevSecOps/Cloud security credential preferred.
• EU nationality required.
