**Job Title:** Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Contract **Role Summary:** Contract SDET responsible for ensuring software quality for autonomous robotics platforms. Executes and develops automated and manual test cases, maintains test frameworks, collaborates with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment, and reports results to stakeholders. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality test automation that supports rapid release cycles. - Communicate findings clearly to developers, architects, and stakeholders. - Meet time estimates and contribute to continuous process improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites and test frameworks (preferred C#). - Execute manual and automated test cases covering functionality, usability, performance, and scalability. - Write and maintain clean, reusable test code libraries. - Perform regression, load, and acceptance testing; set up and maintain test infrastructure. - Analyze automation metrics, provide actionable feedback, and improve test coverage. - Document test scenarios, results, and defect reports in JIRA or equivalent. - Estimate effort, track progress, and deliver test results to project stakeholders. - Manage deployments and conduct post‑deployment verification. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years experience in software development or quality assurance. - Strong object‑oriented programming knowledge; familiarity with design patterns and data structures. - Experience with test automation frameworks (C# preferred) and scripting. - Agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban). - Familiarity with IDEs (Visual Studio, SharpDevelop, Eclipse) and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, Mercurial). - Proficient bug‑tracking (JIRA). - Analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification preferred.
