Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of secure, cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems. Champion automation, IaC, and continuous improvement while integrating advanced AI/ML tooling into operational workflows. Provide mentorship and drive best practices across engineering teams.
**Expectations**
- Own end‑to‑end infrastructure from architecture to production rollout.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in cloud services (AWS priority) and IaC tools.
- Show practical experience with AI/ML tools that improve DevOps efficiency.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers; foster a culture of learning and innovation.
- Quantitatively improve system resilience, cost efficiency, and security posture.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) for rapid, reliable deployments.
- Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
- Deploy comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Conduct incident analysis, root‑cause investigations, and implement preventive measures.
- Document architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures for knowledge transfer.
- Mentor junior staff on best practices and emerging tech, including AI in DevOps.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Expert AWS (GCP/Azure preferred).
- Strong scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
- Proficient with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Skilled in monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Experience provisioning and managing PostgreSQL/MySQL (RDS, Cloud SQL).
- Understanding of AI/ML tool integration and its impact on DevOps pipelines.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
