Job Description
Job title: Senior Product Manager, Contractor Experience Role Summary: Lead the vision, product strategy, and execution for a B2C fintech suite that manages contractor income, banking, taxes, and savings. Build and launch new consumer products from concept through growth, driving monetization and user engagement. Expectations: - Own product lifecycle, from research to launch and scale. - Deliver measurable revenue, adoption, and retention metrics. - Work across cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, data, finance) with limited guidance. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute roadmap for the contractor‑experience product line, including debit card, instant payouts, and tax‑withholding features. - Conduct deep user research to uncover pain points and define growth opportunities. - Build monetization models and set attachment rate targets for the FinTech suite. - Collaborate with engineering to prioritize backlog and deliver high‑quality releases. - Own key product metrics; analyze data to inform decisions and iterate. - Partner with go‑to‑market teams to ensure product positioning, pricing, and launch success. Required Skills: - 5+ years of product management with a track record of launching B2C financial products (neobanking, payments, tax software, PFM, lending, or investing). - Proven 0‑to‑1 building experience: turning concepts into market‑ready products. - Startup mindset: comfortable in ambiguity, action‑oriented, and results‑focused. - Strong analytical mindset, data‑driven decision making, and experience driving commercial outcomes. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Empathy for users; skilled at translating user insights into product vision. - Bonus: experience with AI/ML‑driven consumer products, independent contractor end‑users, or early‑stage startup founding. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field. - Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
