**Job Title** Product Manager – Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer & Customer Enablement Specialist **Role Summary** Drive technical expertise of renewable energy products to enable solution design, customer education, and product improvement. Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Support to translate customer requirements into system proposals, train end‑users, and provide ongoing product knowledge. **Expectations** - Apply deep technical understanding of BESS, solar, and power electronics to support early‑stage sales and post‑sale training. - Travel up to 35% for solution design visits, training sessions, and site visits. - Actively contribute to product roadmap through customer feedback and field insights. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Pre‑Sales System Design** - Gather and validate customer project requirements with Sales. - Lead solution design, energy modeling, and system configuration. - Prepare single‑line diagrams, sizing recommendations, and pre‑sales documentation. - Support presentations, demos, and Q&A. - Coordinate with Engineering to ensure proposals are feasible. - Provide on‑site support during project commissioning. 2. **Customer Education & Product Enablement** - Develop and refine training programs, onboarding resources, and knowledge‑base content. - Deliver technical training to customers, installers, partners, and internal teams. - Create user guides, videos, and documentation. - Collect feedback to improve training materials and product usability. 3. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** - Represent customer needs in product roadmap discussions. - Track product issues; collaborate with Engineering for resolution or feature development. - Participate in trade shows, workshops, and customer site visits. - Monitor industry trends, energy storage standards, and competitive offerings. **Required Skills** - Technical communication: simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. - Public speaking and presentation; confidence in stakeholder interactions. - Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities. - Analytical thinking, organization of complex information, and proactive problem‑solving. - Collaborative mindset across Sales, Engineering, and Operations. - Self‑driven learning and adaptability to evolving responsibilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Renewable Energy, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. - 1–3 years of professional experience in product management, technical sales, field application, or customer support. - Knowledge or quick learning ability in renewable energy systems and BESS technologies. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience with BESS, solar, power electronics, or distributed energy systems. - Prior delivery of trainings, workshops, or technical enablement sessions.
