Job Description

**Job title** AI/Full Stack/Backend Engineer (EU) **Role Summary** Senior AI Software Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining real‑time AI systems that integrate large language models, tool‑calling, and interactive UIs. Works closely with engineers, designers, and researchers to create scalable, reliable products that enable researchers to interact with complex data. **Expactations** - Lead cross‑functional collaboration and strategic technical decisions. - Apply traditional engineering best practices to novel AI workflows. - Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing. - Deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable AI components on a multi‑cloud, Kubernetes‑based stack. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and operate scalable AI back‑ends (Python, Kubernetes, AWS). - Shape AI strategy, including fine‑tuning, orchestration, monitoring, and feedback loops. - Implement continuous deployment, observability, and security for production systems. - Mentor peers and facilitate cross‑disciplinary communication. - Evaluate and iterate on AI solutions to improve performance and user experience. **Required Skills** - Proven leadership in production software engineering (CI/CD, high availability, observability, security). - Deep knowledge of distributed system architecture and resilient infrastructure design. - Practical experience integrating and deploying machine‑learning models (LLMs, fine‑tuning). - Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into actionable plans. - Fluent in English (written & spoken). - Technical stack: Python, Kubernetes, AWS. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Industry certifications relevant to cloud services, Kubernetes, or AI (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
