Job Description
Job Title: Technical Product & Field Support – France / Europe Role Summary: Provide on‑field technical support and training for oyster farming systems, collect and analyze operational data, manage product trials, and collaborate with product development to enhance solutions across France and Europe. Expactations: Deliver timely, accurate technical assistance; build strong farmer relationships; collect actionable data; contribute to continuous product improvement; maintain travel flexibility; communicate effectively in French with English optional; update CRM and internal reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct farm visits for installation, optimization, and hands‑on training of marine aquaculture gear. - Collect production and operational metrics, develop case studies, and benchmark SEAPA methods against traditional practices. - Manage trials of existing and new products, gather structured feedback, and report insights to headquarters. - Conduct root‑cause analysis of product issues, collate on‑ground insights for product development, and identify new opportunities. - Update CRM and reporting tools; participate in global and regional team meetings; coordinate with sales, business development, and inventory management. - Represent the organization at trade shows and events; contribute to customer learning resources and social media content. Required Skills: - Practical experience in oyster farming and understanding of industry challenges. - Proficiency in on‑farm troubleshooting, training, and customer engagement. - Strong analytical abilities for data collection and interpretation. - Excellent communication in French (written and spoken); English proficiency is an advantage. - Comfortable using digital tools (CRM, data collection applications). - Willingness to travel within France and across Europe. - Team player with proactive, agile mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or diploma in marine biology, aquaculture, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications in oyster farming or aquaculture are preferred.
