**Job title** Executive Assistant to CEO – Product, Business Development & Fundraising (Internship) **Role Summary** Support the CEO and founders in strategy execution, product development, business partnerships, and fundraising activities for a rapidly growing second‑hand marketplace focused on manga and pop‑culture. Work cross‑functionally, drive operational metrics, and contribute to scaling the platform while learning start‑up dynamics. **Expectations** * Internship length: 4–6 months, starting September 2024. * Full‑time commitment (≈ 35–40 h/week). * Student currently enrolled in a commerce, business or management program. * Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Draft and implement operational strategies aligned with company growth goals. * Collaborate with product teams to design and launch new features that meet market demand. * Identify, negotiate, and manage partnership opportunities (e.g., suppliers, distributors, influencers). * Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns; prepare pitch decks, investor communications, and financial models. * Track and analyze key financial and operational KPIs to ensure sustainability and scalability. * Coordinate cross‑departmental projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with executive priorities. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. **Required Skills** * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication in French (French‑speaking required) and proficiency in English. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Detail‑oriented, organized, and disciplined. * Enthusiastic, energetic, and collaborative team player. * Passion for Japanese culture and the manga/collectibles market (a plus). * Basic understanding of fundraising, venture capital, and startup metrics (desirable). **Required Education & Certifications** * Current enrollment in a commerce, business administration, or related management degree program. * Minimum GPA or academic standing accepted as per typical internship criteria. * No specific certifications required; knowledge of financial software (Excel, Google Sheets) and project management tools preferred.
