Professional Services Manager

Job Description

Job title: Professional Services Manager Role Summary: Lead the global professional services function for a rapidly growing EdTech platform, driving the full service lifecycle—from onboarding and implementation to training, consulting and adoption—with a focus on expanding market presence in the U.S. Higher Education sector. Own revenue generation, operational excellence, and customer success metrics. Expectations: - Deliver measurable value to customers and scale services that generate revenue. - Cultivate a high-performing, globally distributed services team. - Establish and refine scalable delivery frameworks, playbooks, and best‑practice processes. Key Responsibilities: - Build, coach, and manage the professional services team across multiple regions. - Design, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures for onboarding, integration, data migration, and consulting engagements. - Collaborate with sales to scope engagements, develop proposals, and articulate value propositions. - Partner with product, engineering, and support to create outcome‑focused service offerings. - Monitor and improve adoption, retention, and success metrics, feeding insights into service strategy. - Set, track, and report on KPIs, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement cycles. Required Skills: - Proven professional services leadership experience within SaaS or EdTech. - Strong commercial acumen and ability to monetize and scale services. - Deep understanding of Higher Education procurement and delivery environments. - Excellent stakeholder management across regions and functions. - Proficiency with delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Prince2) and project management tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Strategic vision coupled with hands‑on execution mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Computer Science, or related field. - Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) and/or Agile certification (CSM, PMI‑ACP) preferred.
