Job Description
Job title: Media Planning Supervisor Role Summary: Lead the creation and execution of integrated media plans across traditional and digital channels for a diverse agency client portfolio. Oversee strategy development, measurement, and budget management while mentoring junior planners and ensuring project excellence. Expectations: - Deliver award‑winning media strategies that align with client KPIs. - Demonstrate proactive thinking and use of emerging AI tools to enhance media planning. - Maintain precise budget control and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Produce end‑to‑end media plans across 360 channels, utilizing planning tools and buying platforms. - Design, present, and refine strategic campaign direction for clients. - Build KPI and measurement frameworks; monitor performance against objectives. - Manage project timelines, client status updates, and stakeholder communications. - Conduct quality control, ensuring deliverables meet agency and client standards. - Mentor 1–2 direct/indirect reports; champion training initiatives. - Convene and collaborate with creative partners to secure integrated campaign execution. - Maintain strong client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for media matters. - Control client budgets with high precision, producing Budget Control Reports. Required Skills: - 4+ years agency‑level media planning/buying experience. - Comprehensive knowledge of all media channels, acquisition, evaluation, and proposal critique. - Advanced proficiency with syndicated media tools, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Superior written and verbal client communication; exceptional project management and detail orientation. - Experience with budget control mechanisms and reporting. - Proactive, anticipatory mindset; adept at leveraging AI technologies for media optimization. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred). - No mandatory certifications required.
