Job Description

Job title: Founding Full‑Stack Engineer Role Summary: Founding engineer responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the core infrastructure of Neya’s AI super‑neighbor platform, including backend services, agent systems, data pipelines, and front‑end features. Drives engineering culture and standards from day one while collaborating directly with experienced founders. Expactations: - Own end‑to‑end development from design to deployment. - Deliver highly scalable, fault‑tolerant systems that support millions of users. - Maintain high code quality, rigorous testing, and automated CI/CD pipelines. - Iterate rapidly on product features, data models, and AI‑driven recommendation engines. - Mentor/guide on best practices and conduct code reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement backend architecture using Node.js (Express) and TypeScript. - Build agent–driven workflows leveraging LLMs via LangChain and vector embeddings. - Develop and maintain Next.js (React + TypeScript) front‑end components. - Integrate Supabase as database and authentication layer. - Ensure data ingestion, storage, and retrieval scale to millions of communities. - Implement real‑time communication via WhatsApp Cloud API and other messaging channels. - Develop trust, reputation, and recommendation systems. - Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot services on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). - Participate in product roadmap discussions, define technical feasibility, and prioritize features. - Establish engineering processes: CI/CD, code standards, testing, and documentation. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Node.js (Express), Next.js, React, TypeScript. - Strong experience with LLM integration (LangChain or equivalent). - Expertise in vector embeddings, similarity search, and recommendation engines. - Hands‑on with Supabase or similar modern backend platforms. - Knowledge of serverless/cloud architecture, containers, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience building scalable, low‑latency APIs for millions of concurrent users. - Ability to design and implement trust/reputation systems. - Familiarity with native mobile bridging (Capacitor) and WhatsApp Cloud API. - Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to influence product direction. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Equivalent proven experience preferred; certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), or relevant AI/ML courses are a plus.
