**Job Title**: Full Stack (Front‑End) Engineer – Credit Compass **Role Summary**: Design, build, and maintain highly performant, user‑centric web experiences that enable small business owners to monitor and improve their credit health. Own full‑stack features from scoping and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration, with a focus on dashboards, data visualisations, and customer journeys. **Expectations**: - Deliver end‑to‑end solutions in line with product roadmap and retention goals. - Maintain high code quality, reliability, and scalability across the stack. - Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Data teams; use experiments and metrics to guide decisions. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop user‑facing features: Monitoring, Cashflow Analysis, Spend Benchmarking, etc. - Translate raw financial data (Open Banking, credit bureau, internal sources) into clear visualisations, explanations, and nudges. - Own technical design, implementation, rollout, and post‑release iteration of features. - Maintain core systems: dashboards, scoring logic, data integrations, and API endpoints. - Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues promptly. - Participate in squad rituals: planning, estimation, retrospectives, risk surfacing. - Write clean, well‑tested code in Python/Django and TypeScript/React; conduct code reviews. - Improve internal tooling and CRM integrations to streamline user‑behavior response. **Required Skills**: - Strong front‑end expertise: React, TypeScript, responsive UI design. - Back‑end proficiency: Python, Django, API design (REST/GraphQL). - Experience querying relational databases and consuming third‑party APIs. - Solid debugging and performance monitoring abilities. - Excellent communication: translate business/customer needs into technical solutions. - Product‑oriented mindset: focus on outcomes, experiments, metrics, and cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - No mandatory certifications, but experience with modern development tools (Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks) is essential.
