Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Role Summary: Responsible for executing all core HR functions—including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance—while fostering a values-driven culture of inclusion and continuous improvement. Works directly with the Chief Values Officer to shape employee experience and support organizational growth. Expectations: * Proactive, solution‑driven mindset; challenges status quo and seeks improvement * Strong sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Trust‑builder who earns confidence from employees and leaders * Respects cultural diversity, actively seeks diverse perspectives * Detail‑oriented self‑starter with accountability for deliverables Key Responsibilities: * Conduct end‑to‑end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding * Administer employee benefits, ensuring accurate enrollment and compliance * Manage employee relations: conflict resolution, policy clarification, and reviews * Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data (Oracle/NetSuite) * Verify payroll accuracy in collaboration with Finance * Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications * Drive culture initiatives aligned with company values (inclusion, accountability) * Identify and recommend talent development opportunities and process improvements * Stay current on employment law, regulations, and best HR practices Required Skills: * 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in small‑to‑mid sized companies * Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices * Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills * Ability to build trust, influence, and drive results across cross‑functional teams * High competency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace * Experience with Oracle or NetSuite HR systems * Analytical mindset with creative problem‑solving approach * Entrepreneurial attitude, self‑motivated, deadline‑oriented Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) * HR certification preferred: PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP ---
