Job Description
Job Title: Solutions Engineer Role Summary: Serve as a technical bridge between product, customer, and sales, evaluating and demonstrating the feasibility and value of a modern identity governance platform. Lead Proof‑of‑Value engagements, translate complex security use cases into actionable solutions, and influence product roadmap through customer feedback. Expectations: - 4+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a technical customer‑facing role, preferably in cybersecurity, identity, or infrastructure. - Demonstrated ability to explain advanced technical concepts to varied audiences and to make strategic recommendations. - Comfortable navigating ambiguity and distilling complexity into clear plans. - Proactive cross‑functional collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and oversee Proof‑of‑Value (POV) engagements to validate platform integration and value for prospective customers. - Translate customer security objectives and business goals into detailed, actionable technical solutions. - Act as senior technical advisor, building trust with stakeholders through hands‑on guidance and thought leadership. - Partner with sales to advance deal progress, engage key stakeholders, and align technical solutions with business outcomes. - Capture and synthesize customer feedback, prioritizing market‑relevant features and influencing product roadmap with product development and engineering. - Advocate for product design trade‑offs, ensuring scalability while meeting enterprise needs. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of identity governance concepts (SSO, RBAC, cloud IAM, data access governance). - Proficiency in conducting technical evaluations and deliverables (POV architectures, demos, technical briefs). - Excellent communication skills: articulate complex technical ideas to technical and non‑technical audiences alike. - Experience with cross‑functional collaboration and influencing internal product strategy. - Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under ambiguity. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, IAM‑by‑Google, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar) are a plus.
