Job Description
Job Title Project Manager – Tours & Projects Role Summary Lead planning, execution, and management of world‑class tours and bespoke projects for orchestras, ensembles, and dance companies. Build and maintain relationships with Touring Partners, oversee logistics, contracts, budgets, and technical production elements, and represent the organization globally. Expectations - Deliver tours and projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. - Act as the primary point of contact for Touring Partners and internal stakeholders. - Travel extensively to support touring activities and client meetings. Key Responsibilities - Develop and sustain strong partnerships with Touring Partners, advising on touring strategy. - Plan, coordinate, and execute tours, managing all logistics, contracts, budgets, and schedules. - Lead bespoke projects that integrate production, staging, and media components. - Identify and launch new initiatives, business opportunities, and projects with existing and new clients. - Negotiate, resolve, and pre‑empt complex agreements and stakeholder disputes. - Manage a high‑volume workload, handling multiple clients and projects concurrently. - Coordinate with Assistant Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery. - Contribute to company‑wide initiatives and maintain a collaborative team culture. Required Skills - Proven experience in project management, sales, and project setup within the arts sector (orchestras, dance, venues, festivals) or related field. - Ability to manage multiple clients and high workloads efficiently. - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent crisis management and problem‑solving abilities. - Comfortable traveling regularly and representing the organization globally. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Arts Management, Project Management, Business, or related discipline. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred. Desirable - Experience with technical production elements (sound, lighting, staging). - Foreign language proficiency.
