**Job title:** Data Project Manager (F/M)
**Role Summary:** Lead and deliver end‑to‑end data architecture projects. Own planning, monitoring, risk management, and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
**Expectations:**
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Produce and maintain project management artifacts (plans, budgets, risk registers, decision logs).
- Communicate progress and issues to executive and technical stakeholders through dashboards and reports.
- Ensure adherence to project lifecycle methodologies (V‑model and Agile).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and update the Project Management Plan, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Develop High‑Level Design documents for data architecture, covering integration of Databricks, Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Oracle, and SAP.
- Maintain living documents: action plans, deliverables tracking, risks and decisions (RIDA).
- Build and present project dashboards for each scope: initial vs. revised vs. current planned and actual dates, budgets, progress, remaining work, consumed resources, and risk metrics (delays, costs, quality, resources, environment).
- Capture minutes of steering committee and project review meetings.
- Facilitate risk management activities, identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Ensure proper documentation, data governance, and stakeholder alignment throughout project phases.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience managing data‑architecture implementation projects.
- Deep understanding of data ecosystems and data‑warehouse/ lakehouse architectures.
- Expertise in project management methodologies: V‑model, Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Technical proficiency with Databricks, Azure (data platform), Azure Data Factory, Oracle GoldenGate, and SAP integration.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Teams, and SharePoint for collaboration and documentation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Project Management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Technical certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, or related data platform technologies are a plus.
