Job Title: Back End Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for large-scale web applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance while collaborating closely with front-end and product teams. Expectations: - Convert business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. - Make trade-offs that balance short‑term delivery with long‑term maintainability and business goals. - Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and best practices to drive product innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Build and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs and web services. - Write clean, well‑structured, and testable code using object‑oriented principles and design patterns. - Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites. - Deploy and manage backend services in production environments; monitor performance and reliability. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, UX, front‑end) to define end‑to‑end solutions. - Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and documentation. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js, Python, Go). - Deep understanding of object‑oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns. - Expertise in building and deploying large‑scale RESTful APIs. - Experience with unit testing frameworks and test‑driven development. - Knowledge of database design, SQL/NoSQL, and data modeling. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills. - Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
