Job Title: MuleSoft Developer
Role Summary
Senior-level developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions on MuleSoft. Works within Agile teams to deliver reusable APIs, connectors, and reusable assets, while providing technical guidance and mentorship across distributed teams.
Expectations
- Deliver high‑quality integration services that meet acceptance criteria.
- Act as a trusted advisor for integration architecture and strategy.
- Mentor junior developers and drive adoption of best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural approaches for complex integrations and contribute to overall integration strategy.
- Create, test, and document reusable assets (modules, connectors, data templates, code samples).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming) and provide status updates on stories, bugs, and tasks.
- Manage deployment, configuration, monitoring, and support of MuleSoft CloudHub environments; assist with production releases and incident response.
- Review code, environment, and design; enforce coding standards, release management, and quality validation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control best practices, and SDLC improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, UX, QA, server engineering, and content teams.
- Support content management system operations (ACLs, user management) and assist content authors.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Java, MuleSoft’s DataWeave, RAML, JSON, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with Maven, Git/TFS, and CI/CD tooling.
- SQL Server and/or Oracle expertise (stored procedures, queries).
- Knowledge of async messaging, queueing solutions, and cloud messaging.
- Full‑stack skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Elastic AEM, ColdFusion.
- Integration experience with LMS (D2L), SIS (PeopleSoft), CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Workday), AEM.
- Strong coding and architectural best practices, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; documentation acumen.
- Self‑directed, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban and SDLC processes.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCSD).
- 3–6 years of professional experience in MuleSoft integration and API development.
