After more than a century of expansion and a profound evolution of service offerings, the modern iteration of Empower was launched in 2014. Our past is a big part of who we are as a business, but we continue to invest heavily in our current principles and future endeavors. Today, as the second-largest recordkeeper¹ in the U.S. and a comprehensive wealth management leader, we proudly serve more than 19 million individuals and over 88,000 different organizations.² With a constant commitment to growth, innovation and technology, we are fully dedicated to transforming the lives of all Americans.
