Job Description
**Job Title**: Network Analyst **Role Summary** Diagnose, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise networking components, including SD‑WAN, LAN (Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500, Nexus 9K), WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking. Provide daily support for incidents and requests, contribute to infrastructure projects, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with ITIL and security standards. **Expectations** - Resolve support tickets within SLA and follow up documentation accurately. - Participate actively in project meetings, CABs, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Maintain proactive monitoring and performance tuning of network devices. - Adhere to architecture standards, security audits, and change‑management processes. - Perform occasional work outside normal hours when required by service levels. **Key Responsibilities** - Diagnose and resolve network issues across SD‑WAN, LAN, WLAN, and security platforms. - Configure advanced switching technologies: VLANs, PVLANs, L3‑switching, ACLs, STP/LST, IOS/CatOS/NX‑OS, Nexus vPC, VDC, FabricPath, FEX. - Manage routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF. - Configure and support wireless networks (Aruba preferred) and NAC (ClearPass, TACACS+, RADIUS). - Design and maintain cloud networking (Azure ExpressRoute, routing tables, VPN). - Configure and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (Checkpoint) covering NAT, security policies, traffic inspection. - Develop and maintain network design documents, SOPs, knowledge‑base articles. - Configure and interpret solarWinds SNMP/ICMP monitoring, dashboards, alert responses. - Lead network governance, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives. - Manage ITIL‑aligned incident, request, and change records in ServiceNow. - Assist with major incident (P1) resolution and troubleshooting. - Liaise with vendor management and solution purchasing when needed. - Support Zscaler ZIA/ZPA implementations and troubleshooting. **Required Skills** - Strong grasp of TCP/IP, VPN, DMZ, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, IPsec, SSL/TLS/SSH, LDAP, DNS. - Proficiency with Cisco switching/routing, large‑scale VLAN architectures, and HA (VRRP, HSRP). - Experience with Aruba wireless solutions, ClearPass, and NAC concepts. - Knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking, ExpressRoute, and cloud VPNs. - Firewalls: Checkpoint, VPNs, IDS/IPS, security policy configuration. - Network monitoring: SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP, ICMP, dashboard creation. - Configuration management platforms and scriptability. - ITIL processes and ServiceNow incident/change management. - Strong communication, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Ability to analyze performance metrics and recommend optimization. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Network Communications, or related field. - 5–7 years of network analysis, operations, and vendor‑management experience. - Relevant certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Network+, CCIE, or CISSP preferred. - Experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) and HPE Aruba wireless recommended. ---
