Job Description

**Job title:** Model-Based Software Development Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and validate Simulink-based powertrain control software in compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and MAAB standards. Collaborate with vehicle control teams to implement robust control strategies and ensure safety‑critical quality through rigorous testing and verification. **Expectations:** • Deliver defect‑free, standards‑compliant software within the contract duration. • Demonstrate expertise in model‑based development, unit, MIL, and system verification. • Actively contribute to best‑practice implementation and continuous improvement of model‑based workflows. **Key Responsibilities:** • Create and refine Simulink models for vehicle powertrain control systems. • Implement, test, and maintain model‑based software components. • Conduct SW unit testing, MIL testing, and full verification of developed models. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate and validate control strategies. • Ensure adherence to ASPICE, ISO 26262, and MAAB best practices throughout the development lifecycle. **Required Skills:** • Proficiency in Simulink for model‑based development. • Experience designing and validating powertrain control software. • Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and MAAB standards and their application. • Strong software testing skills (unit, MIL, verification). • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. • Excellent documentation and traceability practices. **Required Education & Certifications:** • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Computer Engineering. • Certification or extensive experience in ISO 26262 and ASPICE implementation preferred.

Expectations: - 2–5 years experience in vehicle preparation, workshop operations, or automotive testing support. - Strong understanding of vehicle systems and workshop practices. - Ability to collaborate with engineering, attribute teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders. - Quick learner with willingness to acquire knowledge on calibration and testing processes.
