Job Title: Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable AWS cloud environments, while driving CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and compliance practices to support high‑availability applications.
Expectations: Deliver robust, cost‑efficient cloud solutions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development and security teams to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (ECS/Fargate, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM) for production workloads.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules, enforcing reusable, version‑controlled code.
- Design, implement, and monitor CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and associated tooling.
- Build and sustain observability stack with Splunk, Dynatrace, and other metrics/logging solutions, including dashboards and alerts.
- Partner with InfoSec to upkeep PCI‑DSS, SOC2, and internal security standards, including audit support and incident response.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and cost control across all environments.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (ECS, EC2, VPC, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM).
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Strong background in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing).
- Jenkins pipeline development, Groovy scripting, and CI/CD automation.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, JIRA, and developer productivity toolchains.
- Experience with Observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.).
- Linux system administration, Bash scripting, Git workflows.
- Understanding of PCI compliance and cloud security controls.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate, or equivalent.
