Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Data Privacy Lawyer (F/H) **Role Summary** Provide expert legal counsel on data privacy and AI, ensuring compliance across international operations, drafting policies, supporting due diligence, and conducting training. **Expectations** - Deliver timely, high‑quality legal advice - Maintain compliance with global data protection laws - Foster collaboration across cross‑functional teams **Key Responsibilities** - Advise on international data transfer mechanisms and data mapping - Conduct compliance assessments of data‑processing programs - Draft and update data protection policies and procedures - Support due‑diligence processes for acquisitions, partnerships, and technology deployments - Lead or participate in international projects involving data privacy and AI - Develop and deliver awareness and training programs for internal stakeholders - Monitor regulatory developments; recommend responses to new requirements **Required Skills** - In‑depth knowledge of GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and other major data protection regimes - Familiarity with AI regulation and ethical data‑usage frameworks - Strong legal drafting and analytical skills - Experience with cross‑border data flows and transfer safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, Privacy Shield equivalents) - Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable business guidance - Excellent written and oral communication in English (native or near‑native level) - Team‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent) - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data privacy (preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department) - CAPA (or equivalent advanced privacy certification) strongly preferred - Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
