Job Description
Job title: Product Development Project Manager (Chef de Produit Développement) Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end product development and market launch for a fast‑growing, zero‑waste home‑care brand. Work closely with the co‑founder and marketing team to source suppliers, manage R&D, packaging, and quality, and drive product innovation based on consumer insights. Expectations: • Minimum 6‑month engagement starting January 2026. • Hands‑on involvement in all product development phases. • Ability to manage urgency, multi‑task, and deliver clear outcomes. • Strong communication in French (written) and English (spoken/written). • Drive cross‑functional collaboration and supply‑chain optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify and evaluate new suppliers; conduct biddings, brief product specs, and oversee R&D progress. 2. Coordinate product development: formulation, packaging, testing, and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with brand DNA. 3. Gather consumer insights, design and analyze quality surveys, and provide actionable improvement briefs to suppliers. 4. Support PR and brand awareness initiatives, collaborating with Marketing Director. 5. Develop and implement performance metrics and tools to monitor supplier performance and growth impact. 6. Continuously explore and propose product innovations that meet market and sustainability goals. Required Skills: • Product development knowledge (cosmetics, cleaning products, or similar). • Supplier management and procurement experience. • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and survey tools. • Excellent written French; strong oral and written English. • Proactive, autonomous, creative, and results‑oriented. • Strong organizational and leadership capability. Required Education & Certifications: • Final year of university program or recent graduate in Product Management, Business, Chemistry, or related field. • Practical experience as an assistant product manager or product development role preferred.
