Job title: Data and Impact Analyst
Role Summary:
Partner with the Senior Data Analyst to build and manage the foundation’s impact measurement framework. Analyze health and program data, create dashboards and reports, develop key performance indicators, and support evidence-based decision‑making across fundraising and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, validate, and analyze administrative health datasets (CIHI, Statistics Canada, PHAC, Census), survey data, funded research, and polling data.
- Build databases, data hubs, and self‑serve analytics platforms.
- Create dashboards, interactive visualizations, fact sheets, and executive‑level presentations using Power BI or Tableau.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and analysis workflows.
- Propose, design, and monitor KPIs and metrics that assess business priorities and impact.
- Develop and implement data storage, privacy, and governance solutions.
- Conduct hypothesis tests, predictive modeling, and trend forecasting.
- Perform scientific literature searches and update internal knowledge products on heart disease and stroke.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in R or Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modeling.
- Strong data visualization and BI tool expertise (Power BI, Tableau).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
- Experience with database design and SQL.
- Knowledge of statistical methodology, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics.
- Excellent documentation, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, or specific BI certifications) are a plus.
