Job Description
**Job Title** In‑House Commercial Development Officer **Role Summary** Develop and grow revenue for a health‑technology company by managing an existing client portfolio and prospecting new accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, negotiating pricing, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve sales targets. **Expectations** - Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Consistently update and report on sales activity and pipeline. - Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage and grow assigned client portfolio, ensuring renewal and upsell opportunities. - Prospect new clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings; qualify leads and schedule appointments. - Analyse monthly sales figures to identify trends, risks, and growth areas. - Develop and prioritise action plans in partnership with Sales Manager and Business Analyst. - Negotiate pricing and contract terms within company policies. - Collaborate with account managers, key‑account teams, and field sales to maximise opportunities. - Conduct market and client needs monitoring; feed insights to product and marketing teams. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in CRM; produce regular activity reports. **Required Skills** - Advanced sales and negotiation techniques. - Strong prospecting skills (telephone, email, videoconference). - Data‑driven analysis of sales performance. - Client relationship management and customer‑centric solution selling. - Proficient with CRM and sales productivity tools; quick to adopt new software. - Excellent organization, prioritisation, and time‑management. - Results‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast‑changing environment. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred). - Sales or CRM proficiency certifications (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) are a plus.
