Job Description
Job title: Business Development Representative – Contract Role Summary: Execute outbound prospecting and lead qualification for a tech services provider, driving opportunities across security, infrastructure, and cloud businesses. Expactations: • Manage inbound marketing-generated leads, converting them into sales‑ready opportunities • Identify key decision‑makers and map buying centres • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel partners to align outreach strategies • Maintain accurate, timely CRM records Key Responsibilities: - Qualify inbound leads and develop outreach plans to convert prospects into qualified opportunities - Conduct account and contact research to identify key decision makers and buying centres - Optimize prospect lists in alignment with marketing campaigns and sales priorities - Keep abreast of industry trends in cloud, infrastructure, and security - Partner with sales executives to design tailored prospecting tactics and schedule discovery calls, demos, and meetings - Provide structured feedback to marketing on lead and campaign quality - Work with channel and technology partners for co‑branded campaigns Required Skills: - 2–4 years in business development, sales development, or inside sales (IT/technology services preferred) - Proficient with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot experience desired) - Strong research and insight‑generating capabilities - Knowledge of cloud services, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity fundamentals - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills - Self‑motivated, curious, results‑oriented, and collaborative team player Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
