**Job Title** Intern – Proxy Product Owner **Role Summary** Support Product Owners in an IT department of an energy retailer, assisting with agile project execution, requirement definition, documentation, functional testing, and test‑environment management. The role offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment. **Expectations** - Curious, rigorous, and proactive approach. - Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams. - Strong analytical mindset and clear communication skills. - Interest in the energy sector and digital product development. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist Product Owners with project tracking, priority management, and backlog grooming. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: Daily stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement. - Draft and maintain detailed functional specifications and technical documentation. - Execute functional testing (user‑acceptance testing) and validate delivered features. - Set up and manage Postman workspaces for API testing and integration environments. - Use ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to log, track, and communicate work items. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English (French a plus). - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). - Basic understanding of web/app development concepts (APIs, REST architecture). - Experience with testing/automation tools such as Postman. - Proficiency with ticketing or project‑tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.). - Ability to write clear, concise specifications and test cases. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor‑Master (Bac+4/Bac+5) program in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related scientific field. - No specific certifications required; coursework or project experience in product ownership or agile project support is advantageous.
