Job Description: Job Title: Database Geologist/Technician Role Summary: Manage geological databases, ensure data integrity, and support exploration projects through database design, maintenance, and QA/QC protocols. Expectations: 3-5 years database management experience in mining/exploration; proficiency in SQL, NoSQL; 5 years project geology experience in mineral exploration; advanced mining software skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop/maintain geological databases for drilling/exploration; validate data for modeling/resource estimation; troubleshoot discrepancies; implement data security; migrate field/assay data using ArcGIS Pro, Leapfrog, Geotic Log; ensure QA/QC compliance; import/validate assay certificates; prepare QA/QC reports; create data templates; train teams on data tools; support logging/core sampling as needed. Required Skills: SQL/NoSQL database management; ArcGIS Pro, Leapfrog, Geoscience Analyst, Geotic Log; QA/QC procedures; data validation; mining/exploration geological data workflows; technical software troubleshooting; analytical/numerical proficiency; cross-team collaboration; health/safety compliance. Required Education & Certifications: Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences preferred; P.Geo. or eligible for registration; Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or equivalent; 3-5 years database management experience; 5 years project geology in mineral exploration. Additional education in Computer Science/IT/ Data Science preferred.
