Job Title: Software Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and ship full‑stack features for an event‑driven healthcare platform, including patient‑facing web applications, AI‑powered health tools, and integrations with external systems. Deliver maintainable, high‑quality code while collaborating with product, design, clinical, and data teams.
Expectations:
- 3–5 years of experience building and shipping production applications.
- Strong command of modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript).
- Proven full‑stack development experience (React, Next.js, or equivalent front‑end; backend services).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team, communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and maintain a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy full‑stack features that enhance patient experience and enable personalized care delivery.
- Design and implement event‑driven systems, AI/ML‑powered health guidance tools, and healthcare integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable code following established engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, clinical, and data teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to sustain code quality.
- Monitor, debug, and incrementally improve the reliability and performance of production systems.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of software engineering with a proven track record of delivering production applications.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript; experience with modern frameworks such as React or Next.js.
- Full‑stack development expertise, including frontend frameworks and backend services.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with event‑driven architectures, message queues, or stream processing (preferred).
- Exposure to healthcare technology and HIPAA compliance requirements (preferred).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and self‑motivation with a growth mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
