Serata Search (UK ) Ltd was launched in May 2010 on the back of over ten year’s solid industry experience. The vision was to establish a recruitment consultancy which offered a much more personal service for clients and candidates alike. The business has experienced significant growth since 2010 and is continuing to expand further. We always aim to wholly understand both our client’s business and our candidate’s needs allowing us to continually deliver an effective, professional solution. Our team has extensive knowledge and experience across a huge range of sectors and can also provide advice about recruitment processes, skills testing, personality profiling, CV writing and interview techniques. We have a broad candidate database which is continually growing and we source candidates through extensive means, including head hunting, and recruit for support staff through to senior level board executives. As a business we recruit nationally, working with a wide range of companies in a variety of markets, ranging from small enterprises to international corporations. Job Description
Job Title: Junior Business Development Executive Role Summary: Entry‑level sales professional responsible for generating and qualifying new leads, supporting senior BDM activities, and contributing to pipeline growth while learning sales processes and industry trends. Expectations: - Graduate level or equivalent experience in sales/customer service. - Proactive self‑starter comfortable with cold calling and networking. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to influence senior decision‑makers and work independently. - Willingness to learn and progress within a business development career. Key Responsibilities: - Build and grow the sales pipeline through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and networking. - Manage pre‑qualified leads and close sales opportunities. - Respond to client queries and provide accurate information. - Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with senior BDM and marketing. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date information in internal CRM systems. - Monitor industry developments and competitor activity. - Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships. Required Skills: - Basic sales or customer service experience (or recent graduate). - Excellent written and presentation skills in English. - Strong verbal communication and negotiation ability. - Confidence to engage senior decision‑makers. - Multi‑tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills. - Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required.
