Job Description

**Job title:** Finance Data & Analytics Consultant **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and deployment of business‑intelligence solutions for finance and regulatory reporting. Translate stakeholder needs into technical specifications, build and optimize Power BI dashboards, and implement ETL processes using Python and Dataiku to deliver data‑driven insights for banking clients. **Expactations:** * Deliver end‑to‑end BI solutions that meet evolving regulatory requirements. * Bridge business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. * Maintain high data quality, integrity, and governance standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Gather and analyze requirements from finance and risk stakeholders. * Design functional specifications and prototype proof‑of‑concept dashboards. * Extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources; cleanse and validate data. * Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability. * Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations that support decision‑making. * Conduct ad hoc analyses and generate complex queries to support reporting. * Continuously improve BI frameworks to adapt to regulatory changes. **Required Skills:** * Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (design, development, optimization). * Strong programming in Python for data manipulation and analysis. * Hands‑on experience with Dataiku (or equivalent data‑prep platform). * Knowledge of data governance, controls, and regulatory reporting in banking or capital markets. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management. * Analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field. * 5‑10 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or consulting within financial services, preferably in finance or regulatory reporting.
