Job Description
**Job Title** Junior Software Engineer **Role Summary** Responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test automation for web, API, and data‑driven applications within an AI‑driven, regulated healthcare environment. Works closely with developers, QA, and data science teams to ensure high‑quality, secure software release. **Expectations** - 50 % collaboration with QA to automate existing manual tests, employing AI‑based testing tools. - 50 % sprint work with development, including maintenance, UX enhancements, and project delivery. - Adhere to healthcare security standards (ISO 13485, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR). - Continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and testing practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and run automated test scripts for web, API, and data pipelines. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and daily stand‑ups. - Manage requirement updates, release coordination, and branch synchronization. - Define and evolve AI/ML model integration testing strategies. - Integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines. - Conduct test planning, regression testing, defect tracking, and root cause analysis. - Ensure compliance with healthcare software quality and security standards. **Required Skills** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Programming proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#. - Experience with test automation frameworks: Pytest, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or JUnit. - Strong understanding of unit, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing concepts. - Basic knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, or data pipelines. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent. - Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., ISTQB, AWS Certified Developer) are desirable but not mandatory.
