Job Title: Real Estate Project Officer – Legal Management of Asset Sales (H/F)
Role Summary
Provide legal oversight and coordination for the sale of residential and block assets owned by institutional owners, ensuring compliance, document integrity, and client satisfaction throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Expectations
Deliver accurate legal preparation, secure necessary documentation, and protect owners’ interests while managing multiple sale dossiers concurrently under the legal director’s guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the legal process of asset sale dossiers from preparation to authentic deed signing.
- Gather, analyze, and secure all required information (property titles, leases, diagnostics, minutes, etc.) in collaboration with internal teams (rental, technical, accounting).
- Advise institutional owners on sales strategies and defend their interests at every stage.
- Coordinate communications among notaries, brokers, buyers, internal managers, and technical staff.
- Validate legal documents, assemble and maintain data rooms.
- Respond to buyer inquiries during exclusivity periods.
- Negotiate and review contractual documents (promissory sales, sale deeds).
- Report on dossier progress to the legal director and owners.
- Organize and accompany property visitations with brokers and management staff.
- Monitor legal and operational developments in real‑estate and asset‑sale law.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of French real‑estate sale documentation and notarial procedures.
- Ability to reconstruct asset histories, identify claims, works, and litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools, Microsoft Office, and data‑room platforms.
- Rigorous, autonomous, highly organized.
- Capable of multi‑tasking and maintaining client service excellence.
- Initiative, adaptability, and cross‑functional coordination.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac +4/5) in real estate, property law, or notary studies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a notary office, law firm, asset/property management firm, or real‑estate agency, with demonstrated expertise in handling sale dossiers, drafting, verification, and data‑room preparation.
