**Job Title**
Network and Systems Administrator (Permanent)
**Role Summary**
Manage, maintain, and evolve the group’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across Windows servers, virtual environments, Azure services, networking equipment, and end‑user support. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and contribute to key IT projects such as disaster recovery planning and helpdesk automation.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in system and network administration.
- Baccalaureate (Bac) or equivalent with 2–3 years of higher education in IT (networking/systems).
- Strong technical curiosity, self‑direction, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in technical English; able to communicate with international subsidiaries.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer Windows Server infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file shares, GPO) and Hyper‑V virtualization.
- Manage SQL Server databases and ensure their availability/performance.
- Oversee network operations: switches, routers, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, 4G access points.
- Administer Azure AD and Office 365, implementing MFA, antivirus measures, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Maintain hardware inventory, licences, peripherals, and telephony (fixed and mobile).
- Provide N1/N2 support and coordinate with partners for N3 issues.
- Lead external service providers – managed services, telecommunications, and other IT contractors.
- Drive and participate in strategic projects: disaster recovery (PRA/PCA), helpdesk solution deployment (e.g., GLPI), and process automation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally on various group initiatives, translating business needs into technical solutions.
**Required Skills**
- Windows Server administration (2008/2016/2019/2022).
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Group Policy management.
- Hyper‑V virtualization fundamentals.
- SQL Server administration (installation, backup, recovery).
- Azure AD, Office 365, MFA, VPN, firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.).
- LAN/WAN networking (switches, routers, VLAN, VPN, 4G).
- Security protocols (MFA, antivirus, endpoint protection).
- ITIL or similar service‑management framework.
- Basic scripting (PowerShell, batch, or PowerShell‑Core).
- Familiarity with helpdesk tools (e.g., GLPI).
- Vendor management and project coordination.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bac+2/3 (Associate or Bachelor) in Computer Science, Networking or Systems.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate – preferred.
- Microsoft 365 Certified – optional but beneficial.
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certification – desirable.
- MCSA/MCSE or similar Microsoft certification – advantageous.
