Integration Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, configure, and maintain Flowdesk’s Jira Cloud and Confluence environments to ensure stable, governed, and audit‑ready operations across product, engineering, compliance, and business teams. Drive workflow automation, integrations, and reporting while supporting a regulated financial‑services context.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence (permissions, schemes, templates, project configurations).
- Design, implement, and optimize workflows, automation rules, notifications, and custom fields.
- Enforce governance, naming conventions, lifecycle policies, and audit‑ready configurations aligned with VARA, MiCA, and MAS regulations.
- Manage access reviews, backup routines, and environment change controls for business continuity.
- Build and maintain integrations using Jira REST API and scripting (Python/JS/Bash) with internal tools (repositories, HR, ops systems).
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor SLA performance, request throughput, and backlog health.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to teams on best practices, template usage, and workflow design.
- Consolidate legacy configurations, remove unused artifacts, and ensure platform consistency.
**Required Skills**
- 3–5 years hands‑on Jira Cloud and Confluence administration.
- Deep knowledge of workflow design, permission models, issue types, and automation.
- Proficiency with Jira REST API and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash).
- Familiarity with ITSM processes and agile delivery frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, ITIL Foundation) are a plus but not mandatory.
