Job Description: **Job Title:** Application Specialist – Microbiology (F/M) **Role Summary:** Serve as the scientific expert in clinical and/or industrial microbiology, supporting product promotion, sales, and customer implementation. Provide technical guidance, training, and scientific information to ensure effective and accurate microbiological testing in laboratory environments. **Expactations:** - Demonstrate deep understanding of microbiology laboratory procedures, protocols, and good practice standards. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. - Collaborate proactively with sales and product teams. - Deliver remote training and on‑site support to customers. - Maintain professional English communication. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as subject‑matter expert for clinical and food/beverage microbiology applications. - Support sales activities: product demonstrations, technical discussions, and client training. - Provide scientific literature‑based responses to customer inquiries. - Conduct remote training sessions on culture‑based microbiological diagnostics. - Assist customers in optimizing laboratory workflows for accurate, efficient testing. - Participate in product validation and performance verification at customer sites. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices (clinical and/or industrial). - Hands‑on experience with culture‑based diagnostic methods. - Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to simplify technical concepts. - Customer‑service orientation and teamwork skills. - Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). - (Preferred) Prior experience in application support for microbiology products. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac + 3) in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. - Master’s degree (Bac + 5) preferred. - Relevant certifications or training in microbiological methods (optional but advantageous).
