**Job Title:** Electrical Project Engineer – Offshore Substations
**Role Summary:**
Lead the engineering and validation of low‑voltage electrical systems for offshore AC substations (66 kV & 220 kV). Support detailed design, module fabrication, technical documentation review, and interface coordination across mechanical, instrumentation, SCADA, HSE, quality, contracting, and PMO teams.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 6 years of EPC project experience, preferably in offshore environments.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical interfaces.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review, comment on, and validate LV electrical documentation (switchboards, UPS, generators, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, cable management).
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for LV equipment.
- Provide engineering support during construction, integration, and commissioning phases.
- Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, SCADA, HSE, quality, contracting, and PMO stakeholders.
- Manage interfaces and resolve electrical design issues.
**Required Skills:**
- EPC project execution and documentation control.
- Knowledge of LV systems: switchboards, UPS, diesel generators, earthing & bonding, lightning protection, lighting, cable routing.
- FAT planning and execution.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics (or equivalent).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., IEC standards, offshore safety) preferred but not mandatory.
