Job Description
**Job Title** Automation Engineer (M/F) **Role Summary** Responsible for maintaining and optimizing automation systems on production equipment, performing curative and preventive maintenance, executing minor programming changes for reliability, and leading modernization projects to address equipment obsolescence and support MES implementation. **Expectations** - Ensure high equipment availability and reliability. - Deliver timely technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems. - Drive standardization and reduce hardware/software diversity. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and coordination with external contributors. - Maintain accurate records in the CMMS for continuous improvement analysis. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform curative and preventive maintenance on electronic control equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA). - Provide on‑site technical support for automation‑related faults. - Implement minor program and GUI modifications for reliability upgrades. - Log all activities in the CMMS and generate statistical reliability reports. - Issue and manage spare parts from inventory. - Conduct functional analyses of machines to identify improvement opportunities. - Act as point‑of‑contact for obsolescence treatment projects; define and enforce material standards. - Reduce the number of hardware and software references used across the plant. - Lead modernization projects addressing electronic equipment obsolescence. - Participate actively in MES implementation and technology watch activities. - Supervise external contractors when required. **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of PLC programming (ladder, structured text, function blocks) and HMI/SCADA configuration. - Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of automation equipment. - Proficiency in CMMS usage and data analysis for reliability improvement. - Ability to develop and modify small automation programs and graphical interfaces. - Good troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills. - Project management capability, including planning, coordination, and reporting. - Effective communication and ability to supervise external service providers. - Familiarity with MES concepts, technology watch, and standardization practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent technical diploma). - Relevant certifications such as PLC programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider, etc.), HMI/SCADA, and safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 61508) preferred. - Additional training in CMMS operation or project management is a plus.

Job Description
**Job title** EDM Toolmaker (M/F) **Role Summary** A skilled operator responsible for running wire EDM machines, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring precision in die manufacturing processes.
