**Job Title**: Programme Director
**Role Summary**
Lead and deliver multi‑service line programme portfolios within Building Engineering Services. Provide senior governance, commercial leadership, and delivery assurance. Set design delivery governance, manage risk, drive innovation, and nurture client relationships to secure and grow contract work.
**Expectations**
- Proven track record managing complex data centre and mission‑critical projects from pre‑design through commissioning.
- Ability to lead cross‑disciplinary design teams, mentor senior project managers, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong commercial acumen: forecasting, margin management, and contract oversight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive‑level client engagement.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop portfolio strategy, coordinate delivery across multiple service lines, and own governance, reporting, escalations, and decision forums.
2. Define and enforce design delivery standards (DTMs, transmittals, change control).
3. Champion proactive risk identification and mitigation while supporting agile, innovative delivery routes.
4. Drive buildability and efficiency through staged, design‑controlled programmes.
5. Own executive client relationships, conduct post‑delivery reviews, and identify repeat‑work opportunities.
6. Achieve commercial outcomes: forecast revenue, manage margins, and oversee contract compliance.
7. Lead portfolio growth initiatives: new opportunities, cross‑selling, and key bid responses.
8. Ensure portfolio quality, compliance, and audit readiness (ISO 9001/14001); maintain QA/QC and documentation standards.
9. Mentor and develop Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
10. Act as final escalation point for delivery, quality, and commercial issues.
11. Support practice leadership: strategic planning, operational metrics, performance reporting, and community‑of‑practice learning.
12. Support training and succession planning.
**Required Skills**
- Project and programme management (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural) or equivalent.
- Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP).
- ISO 9001/14001 awareness or relevant quality management experience.
