As a national organization made up of individual and organizational memberships, CCWESTT builds alliances and partnerships which support and celebrate a diverse SETT workforce. Job Description
Job Title: Chief Information Officer Role Summary: Lead enterprise‑wide technology strategy, governance, and digital transformation in a regulated, consumer‑protective organization. Deliver secure, scalable solutions, manage cyber risk, and align IT investments with business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Expactations: * Strategic partner on corporate decision‑making and long‑term planning. * Board‑level communication on technology risk, cyber posture, and ROI. * Steward of IT budget, vendor relationships, and performance metrics. * Champion of customer‑centric digital services for homeowners, builders, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Define and execute technology strategy and governance frameworks. * Lead cloud migration, legacy system modernization, and technical debt reduction. * Identify and deploy emerging technologies (data, AI, automation) to improve service delivery. * Oversee enterprise cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance. * Build, develop, and retain a high‑performing technology team. * Develop and monitor IT budgets, ensuring measurable ROI. * Evaluate and manage vendor performance and contractual obligations. Required Skills: * Enterprise architecture and transformation leadership in large, regulated environments. * Deep understanding of cyber risk, privacy, compliance, and ethical technology use. * Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive/board audiences. * Strong financial stewardship and vendor management. * Leadership of diverse, cross‑functional IT teams. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and change‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). * Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in IT) preferred. * Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, PMP, or equivalent.
