Job Description

**Job Title:** Embedded Engineer (Contract) **Role Summary:** Develop, integrate, and debug production‑grade embedded software for safety‑critical systems in a small, high‑performance engineering team. Work closely with hardware, support bring‑up, and ensure reliability and performance in Linux or RTOS environments. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust C/C++ code that meets stringent safety and performance standards. - Operate across the full software development lifecycle, from design to verification. - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineers. - Maintain security clearance eligibility (or hold clearance). **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement embedded software in C/C++. - Perform hardware bring‑up, integration, and system‑level debugging. - Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software faults. - Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and verification activities. - Ensure compliance with safety‑critical and reliability requirements. **Required Skills:** - Strong expertise in embedded software development (C/C++). - Experience with Linux and/or real‑time operating systems (RTOS). - Proficient in low‑level debugging and hardware/software interaction. - Ability to work independently and within a small, experienced team. - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Security clearance eligibility or existing clearance (as required).
