**Job Title** Intern – Information Security **Role Summary** A short‑term, 40‑hour per week internship within the Information Security team. The intern will support a specific project focused on cyber threat intelligence and defensive assessment, gaining hands‑on experience in security operations, risk management, and threat research. **Expectations** - Authorised to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. - Participate in scheduled corporate events and provide regular progress reports. - Hybrid work model requiring in‑office attendance at the Administrative Services Center, with specific days set by the supervisor. - Complete the internship within a maximum period of nine months, subject to departmental assignment. - Maintain satisfactory performance as evaluated by the supervisor and Talent Acquisition team. **Key Responsibilities** - Review existing security defenses and threat‑data sources. - Identify and document Priority Intelligence Requirements. - Formulate hypotheses for threat research. - Collect relevant data from established internal and external sources. - Perform analytical and statistical processing of gathered data. - Prepare written assessments of findings and recommendations. - Support broader Information Security initiatives such as Security Awareness Education and Risk Management. **Required Skills** - Fundamental understanding of cyber threat intelligence concepts. - Proficiency in data collection and analytical techniques. - Strong written communication and reporting abilities. - Creative, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills. - Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational ability. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrolled in or have completed a four‑year degree from an accredited institution. - Minimum of 15 semester credits completed. - Accepted majors: Cybersecurity, Information Technology/Systems, Communications, Data & Analytics, Operations Management, Risk, or related business disciplines. - Strong academic performance (minimum GPA 3.0 preferred). ---
