Job Description

**Job Title:** Technical and Application Architect **Role Summary:** Designs, defines, and maintains the technical architecture of the information system, ensuring coherence across hardware, applications, operating systems, and networks. Aligns architecture with enterprise reference models, drives evolution to meet user needs, and guarantees interoperability of new solutions. Acts as a bridge between development and operations, contributing to the industrialization of development platforms. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, scalable, and compliant technical standards. - Ensure alignment with enterprise urbanization plans and governance. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies. - Communicate architecture decisions effectively to project teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement technical standards in collaboration with domain managers and corporate authorities. - Design and validate the overall technical architecture of the information system. - Establish a technical foundation that meets the enterprise’s urbanization requirements. - Scope, plan, and monitor architecture‑related projects through to completion. - Conduct continuous technology watch and assess its impact on the existing landscape. - Perform current‑state assessments and propose improvements. - Analyze the impact of new solutions/technologies on the SI and recommend technical choices for regular operation. - Promote and disseminate the chosen technical architecture to all project stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Strong expertise in enterprise IT architecture (technical and/or application). - Ability to design and enforce technical standards and reference models. - Experience in impact analysis, technology evaluation, and integration planning. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Autonomous, rigorous, adaptable, and flexible work style. - Proficiency in French (working language) and English (technical documentation). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an engineering school or university. - Significant professional experience as a Technical Expert or Architect (typically 5+ years). - Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, AWS/Azure Architecture) are a plus but not mandatory.
