Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Finance Analyst **Role Summary:** Commercially‑focused finance professional to partner with senior IT stakeholders on forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting for a complex technology cost base. Drive improvements in management information, automation, and cost efficiency within a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate IT spend forecasts and budgets. - Provide actionable financial insights for decision‑making. - Enhance and automate reporting and MI processes. - Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support capital‑expenditure reporting. - Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across finance and non‑finance teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning cycles for IT spend. - Conduct financial analysis and present insights to senior IT leadership. - Develop and automate MI and reporting using tools such as TM1 and Power BI. - Build models to identify cost efficiencies and opportunities. - Manage capital expenditure reporting and amortisation modelling. - Improve cost‑centre structures and reporting frameworks. - Handle ad‑hoc finance tasks, including supplier and purchase‑order processes. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Excel with strong data manipulation and modelling abilities. - Experience with TM1 and/or Power BI (highly desirable). - Proven ability to support technology/IT cost bases. - Strong commercial acumen and solution‑focused mindset. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent professional experience. - 5–10 years’ finance experience, preferably in business partnering/FP&A within an IT or technology setting.
