**Job Title:** Director of Sales, West **Role Summary:** Lead and develop sales strategies for retail and on-premise channels across a multi-state territory, managing a team of Sales Managers. Oversee account portfolios, optimize distribution, and align cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth. **Expectations:** - Direct team of four Sales Managers across CA, NV, AZ, WA, OR, MT, ID, UT, WY, NM, CO. - Drive territory performance through strategic account management and channel alignment. - Monitor P&L performance and implement data-driven improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Develop and assign account portfolios for independent retailers, regional chains, and distributors. 2. Align shelving, pricing, and merchandising with brand goals. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, etc.) on strategy execution. 4. Mentor Sales Managers, set performance metrics, and address team shortfalls. 5. Leverage Salesforce and syndicated data (Nielsen, Spectra) to optimize SKU/pricing and reduce stockouts. 6. Manage P&L reporting for distributors, chains, and independent accounts. 7. Identify market trends, grow dollar share, and lead annual business reviews. 8. Ensure customer requirements are met and facilitate internal-external communication. 9. Recommend cost-effective POS solutions with ROI analysis and execute account-specific programs on budget. **Required Skills:** - 7–10 years selling premium beverages/Consumer Products in retail, foodservice, and convenience channels. - 5+ years leading sales teams in field management. - P&L experience (forecasting, financial reporting). - Advanced syndicated data analysis (Nielsen, IRI, Mintel). - Proven track record in market expansion and distribution growth. - Sales presentation development and leadership training capabilities. - Strong customer service orientation and cross-functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - BS/BA in business, finance, or related field (preferred). - No specific certifications listed.
