**Job Title**
Internship – Applied Artificial Intelligence
**Role Summary**
Undergraduate or graduate student interns will develop and prototype enterprise‑scale AI solutions, including generative AI, LLMs, and conversational agents, integrating them with backend services and APIs in a secure, cloud‑enabled environment.
**Expectations**
• Produce high‑quality code and AI proofs‑of‑concept.
• Apply academic AI knowledge to production‑grade problems.
• Collaborate across research, engineering, and product teams.
• Communicate technical results to technical and business stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, build, and test AI prototypes (generative AI, agents, RAG).
2. Engineer prompt frameworks, embeddings, and LLM integration.
3. Connect AI services to backend APIs, data sources, and secure infrastructure.
4. Evaluate model performance, monitor impact, and adopt responsible AI practices.
5. Document design decisions and share findings with cross‑functional teams.
**Required Skills**
- Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience or interest in AI, machine learning, or NLP.
- Familiarity with APIs, data processing, or cloud platforms.
- Exposure to LLMs, OpenAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related field).
- Completion of at least one programming course in Python, Java, or C++ (or equivalent experience).
