Job Description
**Job Title:** Data & Reporting Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide accurate AR Aging reports and actionable insights to support financial decision‑making and process improvements across credit assessment, collections, cash allocation, and AR maintenance functions. Collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams to analyze, interpret, and report on AR metrics, ensuring data integrity and timely delivery of key performance indicators. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, error‑free reports and analyses under strict deadlines. - Identify root causes of data anomalies and recommend corrective actions. - Maintain and enhance data sources and reporting tools to meet evolving business needs. - Communicate findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer SQL and GQL databases; create, maintain, and optimize tables and queries (ETL). - Extract and combine data from ERP, billing, operations, Access, Excel, and other sources. - Produce regular (daily/weekly/monthly) and ad‑hoc reports for stakeholders. - Develop dashboards and visualizations with Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI to track AR performance. - Support system enhancements and data migrations; participate in UAT for new products. - Provide training and documentation on reporting tools and processes. - Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and company policies. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data visualisation). - Proficiency in SQL and MS Access; experience with GQL acceptable. - Expertise in BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI). - Strong analytical and operational focus on accounts receivable metrics. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Detail‑oriented, reliable, and capable of meeting tight schedules. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. - Professional certification in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) preferred. **Minimum Experience:** - 5+ years in Business Intelligence, data analysis, or operational/financial reporting. - Experience with accounts receivable or collections considered an asset.
