Job Description
**Job Title** Product Owner, Central FX Position Management Implementation **Role Summary** Deliver a high‑impact FX position management system for a global commodities trading firm, acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Oversee the full product lifecycle—prioritisation, specification, design, build, test, release, and handover—to ensure measurable business value and operational excellence. **Expectations** - Replace current manual processes with automated, accurate FX exposure measurements. - Achieve project milestones within a 6‑month contract, with potential extension. - Facilitate seamless transition from project mode to business‑as‑usual operations. - Maintain budget discipline, reporting, and governance in a scaled, multi‑functional environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Represent stakeholder needs and align them with project sponsor and strategic goals. 2. Translate business requirements into clear, testable specifications for Endur FX modelling and related ETRM systems (Coral, SAP TRM, 360T/iTEX). 3. Conduct feasibility assessments, quantitative analysis, and support design decisions. 4. Define and execute test cases, coordinate UAT, and validate go‑live readiness. 5. Develop FX hedging guidelines and limit frameworks for Treasury. 6. Partner with internal teams and external providers across prioritisation, build, release, and early life support phases. 7. Monitor milestones, report budget status, and coordinate structured handover to operations. 8. Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and advise on Definition of Done/Ready and QA standards. 9. Lead steering committees/workshops and engage senior management on priorities, budgets, and delivery strategies. 10. Provide governance support for reporting, control, and transformation in a scaled environment. **Required Skills** - Product ownership, stakeholder management, and business analysis. - Agile (Scrum/Kanban) facilitation; experience with Definition of Done/Ready and QA processes. - Strong knowledge of FX exposure measurement, Endur FX modelling, and ETRM platforms. - Quantitative analysis and data‑driven decision making. - Test design, execution, and UAT coordination. - Leadership and facilitation for cross‑functional and external vendor teams. - Excellent communication, presentation, and project monitoring abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field. - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile product owner certification. - Additional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑ACP, PMP, CFA, FRM) preferred but not mandatory.
